  My family and I go boating on the Harris chain frequently and Hurricane's is a regular destination for us. It has always been hit or miss for us and while I realize we show up on busy days, I feel I should share a few thoughts.
  
  First of all, everyone there has always been friendly. We boat with kids and this place is great for them and the staff has always taken good care of them. I typically just order wings and they are consistently good and I love trying all the flavors. Also, the 1.99 Goose Island IPA is an amazing price for a great beer. Their appetizers are also very good.
  
  Just be prepaid to be occasionally disappointed; For some reason I ordered a burger the last time and I ordered it medium. It came out crunchy and dry. It was probably the worst burger I have ever had. Plus the wait was crazy long. The good news was we were in no hurry but if I was, it took a long time to get our food.
  
  I know we will be back again. It's hard to beat their wings and beer.

  The atmosphere here is very nice. Waterside dining that feels like you're at the beach. We love that you can boat right up. The fish Tacos were pretty average but good. The slider were a bit on the salty side but still good. Overall a good experience.

  Positives: Atmosphere was fun, we didn't see any gators but I like that you have the opportunity too! It seemed liked a family atmosphere. Our waiter was nice. Negative: We waited 30 min for our food to arrive and our waiter tried to take my plate before I was through. A family who arrived almost 10 minutes after we ordered got their food before we did. The food was tasty but I wouldn't rush back to dine there.
